Why the postpartum period is important to us:
Many therapists at Amanda Atkins Counseling have received training in treating pregnancy and postpartum issues. 1 in 7 moms suffer from postpartum depression as well as 1 in 10 dads. Postpartum depression and anxiety is highly treatable by therapy and there is no need to suffer alone.
Amanda, Ally, Jane, Amina, Kristen, Elissa, Mehak, Kira, Tera, and Helena are all trained and specialize in perinatal mental health.
